Stress can be a Friend

Last Thursday, I went to the doctor to have a check-up since I was not feeling well. My shoulder muscles and my neck was stiff and painful. I believe it's something that happens to me when I am stressed. I also had my blood pressure checked and it was a higher than normal. I am not sure if stress can attribute to higher blood pressure but maybe it does.

I found this TED talk which was really enlightening on how to cope with stress and use it to your advantage. Kelly talked about changing your perspective on stress and make it your friend. The talk is very interesting since there is some scientific studies and statistics to back it up.

So if you're under stress right now or experience a lot of stress in your everyday work, this talk might help on changing how you think about stress.
